མི་དབང་རྒྱལ་སྲས་འཁྲུངས་པར་ལེགས།

The Auspicious Birth of The Prince of Bhutan

དུས་བཟང་པོ་མེ་ཕོ་སྤྲེལ་ཤར་དུས།།

Time of the rise of the Fire Monkey,

གནས་བཟང་པོ་གླིང་ཀ་ནའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ།།

Place auspicious at the Lingkana Palace,

དཔལ་ལུགས་གཉིས་འཁོར་ལོ་བསྒྱུར་བའི་སྲས།།

The Prince who wheels the nation and the dharma

དཔལ་འབྲུག་པའི་མི་དབང་རྒྱལ་སྲས་འཁྲུངས།།

Was born, the Prince of Bhutan.

སྔོན་གུ་རུའི་ལུང་བསྟན་བྱིན་རླབས་གཅིག།

With the blessed prophecy of Guru Rinpoche,

ཕ་ངག་དབང་རྣམ་རྒྱལ་མཛད་པ་གཉིས།།

The deeds of Ngawang Namgyel, the father of Bhutan, and

དབང་ཕྱུག་པའི་བརྒྱུད་འཛིན་རྒྱལ་པོ་རྣམས།།

The dynamic dynasty, the Wangchuck kings

དཔལ་འབྲུག་པའི་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་འཛིན་སྐྱོངས་མཛད།།

Have brought the nation to this time.

དུས་ད་རེས་དུས་རབས་ཉེར་གཅིག་པ།།

Time it is the twenty first century

སྔར་སྲོལ་གྱི་ལམ་ལུགས་མ་ཉམས་དང་།།

Our ways remain as our fathers,

དེང་སང་གི་གོང་འཕེལ་འབྲུག་ལུ་འཕེལ།།

Our means a beneficiary of time,

འབྲུག་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལྔ་པའི་འབངས་རྣམས་སྐྱིད།།

At peace are the people of the Fifth King.

བརྒྱུད་འཛིན་གྱི་རྒྱལ་སྲས་འཁྲུངས་པའི་དུས།།

The time the Prince was born

འབངས་མི་སེར་ཧ་ཀྱང་ཡིད་ལ་དགའ།།

At more peace are the people of the Fifth King,

ཡབ་གེ་སར་རྣམ་རྒྱལ་གུས་པས་བསྐུར།།

O father, we revere the father Khesar Namgyal

ཡུམ་རྗེ་བཙུན་པད་མ་བརྩེ་བས་མཇལ།།

O mother, we adore the mother Jetsun Pema.

རྗེ་འཇིགས་མེད་ཆོས་གྲགས་གནམ་དགུན་དུས།།

Je, the fearless holder of our dharma, in the time of Winter,

བཀྲ་ཤིས་པའི་རྫོང་ཆེན་ལྟེ་བའི་ནང་།།

In the Glorious Fortress of the Religion, Tashichhoe Dzong,

སྐུ་ཐུགས་དམ་བཞུགས་ཏེ་ཆོས་སྐྱོང་རྣམས།།

Stood in secret state of meditation, and the monks

འབྲུག་མཐའ་དབུས་མེད་པར་གསོལ་ཁ་ཕུལ།།

Offered prayers in all temples in the land.

རྒྱལ་ཁམས་དུ་བཞུགས་པའི་བླ་སློབ་ནས།།

The lamas on the mountains and

གྲོང་གསེབ་དུ་བཞུགས་པའི་མི་སེར་རྣམས།།

Villagers in the valleys

བཀྲ་ཤིས་པའི་སྨོན་ལམ་སྙིང་ནས་འཕུལ།།

Offered prayers, all of hope and auspiciousness.

སྤྱིར་འབྲུག་པའི་སྨོན་ལམ་བསྒྲུབ་པར་ཤོག།

May these auspicious prayers, O Lord, be all answered!

བུ་ཚ་ཞིག་སྐྱེས་པའི་དུས་དེ་ལ།།

At the birth of a baby, the birth of hope,

སྨན་མཁས་པའི་དྲུང་འཚོས་ཕྱག་ཕྱིད་ཞུ།

People of medical hands were at the service

ཡུམ་གྱུར་བའི་མི་དབང་རྒྱལ་བཙུན་ལུ།།

When our beloved Jetsun became a mother to the Prince,

ཕྱག་ཞུ་བའི་རྟེན་འབྲེལ་འདི་རུ་ལེགས།།

Such auspiciousness for medicine in our land.

དཔལ་འབྲུག་པའི་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་དགའ་ཞིང་སྐྱིད།།

The Glorious Palden Drukpa, with merry and glee,

མི་དབང་གི་རྒྱལ་སྲས་འཁྲུངས་པར་ལེགས།།

Welcome the birth of the Prince of Bhutan.

འབངས་བདེ་སྐྱིད་ཉི་མ་རྒྱུན་མི་ཆད།།

In the blessings on the Prince of Bhutan

དཔལ་བཀྲ་ཤིས་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པར་ཤོག།    །།

May the nation find higher peace, happiness and prosperity.
